Tom & Teddy Cotton Shorts have a more secure and streamlined cut than our Classic Swim Shorts, so we recommend sizing-up if you prefer a relaxed fit. An all-year-round essential, they’re perfect for active days, laidback days and every fun day in between.
They have a semi-tailored cut, a perfect-fit waistband (they’re only elasticated at the sides, so you may prefer to size-up) and the fabric is a soft twill cotton, which is low-crease and exceptionally durable. With just the right amount of stretch for easy movement, these are the ultimate in versatile, every-day shorts that you’ll wear and wear… and wear!

Fabric
We chose a luxurious stretch cotton twill for our signature Cotton Shorts because it’s extra durable and has brilliant crease-resistant properties. Twill is a woven fabric that has a diagonal rib pattern and is traditionally used for chino-style trousers. Its high-thread count provides a superbly soft finish and it can be washed again and again without losing its shape.
